Pink Paradigm Ventures ("Nuzzi," "we," "us") makes Nuzzi, an app that helps people keep track of their pets' medications, care, and daily schedules. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both our website and the Nuzzi app.
We built Nuzzi to help you care for an animal you love, so we collect as little as we need to do that, and we do not sell your information.
Information we collect
When you join our list. If you sign up on our website to hear about the launch, we collect your email address so we can contact you about Nuzzi. That is all the website form collects.
When you create an account. Nuzzi uses Sign in with Apple. Depending on your choices, Apple shares your name and either your email address or a private relay email that forwards to you. We use this to create and secure your account.
Your pet and care information. So the app can do its job, you give us information about your pet and their care, which may include the pet's name, species, breed, date of birth, weight, allergies, and photo; the medications, doses, schedules, and timing you set up; and the logs you keep, such as doses given or missed, meals, symptoms, weight, energy, treatments, vet appointments, and any notes you add. Some of this is sensitive health information about your animal, and we treat it carefully.
People you invite. If you invite another caretaker to help with your pet, we store that invitation and the connection between your accounts so you can share your pet's schedule.
Device and technical information. To send reminders, we store a notification token for your device. We also use your device's time zone so your pet's schedule shows and fires at the right local time; we do not track your precise location. Apple may provide us with basic crash and diagnostic reports to help us fix problems. Our website uses standard cookies through our website provider for basic analytics.
How we use your information
We use what we collect to run Nuzzi: to create your account, store and display your pet's schedule, calculate safe timing, send the reminders you ask for, let you share care with people you invite, generate reports you choose to export, provide support, keep the service secure, and, if you subscribe, manage your subscription. We use your email from the website only to tell you about Nuzzi.
Notifications
Nuzzi sends reminders about your pet's medications and care. You control notifications in your device settings, and you can turn them off at any time, though the app is far less useful without them.
How we share information
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We share information only in these limited ways:
With caretakers you choose to invite, who can then see and help with that pet's schedule.
With service providers who help us run Nuzzi, under agreements that limit them to that purpose (see below).
If required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or others.
With your consent, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, in which case we will let you know.
Service providers we rely on
Apple provides Sign in with Apple, delivers notifications, and processes any subscription payments through the App Store. When you subscribe, Apple handles your payment; we do not receive or store your card details.
Supabase hosts our database and stores your account and pet information securely.
Squarespace hosts our website and manages our email signup list.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes your account and your pet's information from our systems. You can unsubscribe from our email list using the link in any email we send.
Security
We protect your information with industry standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls that keep each account's data separate, so one household cannot see another's. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard what you trust us with.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your pet's information in the app, delete your account, and manage notifications and email preferences at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, contact us at info@nuzzi.app. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
Nuzzi is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Where your information is stored
Nuzzi is operated in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. If you use Nuzzi from another country, you understand your information will be handled in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Nuzzi grows. If we make a significant change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email.
